THE TROUBLE AT GERMERSHEIM. BERLIN, October 6. The French troops at Germersheim have been ordered to walk out only in groups. If molested, they may uS* their weapons. Several Germans have been arrested in connection with the recent affair. An inquiry is proceeding.—(A. and N.Z.). (Two French soldiers at Germersheim, Bavaria, on September 26, quarrelled with two German civilians. They warned the public to stand back and shot the Germans dead. The French gendarmerie arrested the two soldiers).
