The dates fixed by the Dominion Bowling Association for the Masterton visit are Saturday and Sunday, February 13 and 14, the .team, to leave for Wellington on the Monday, xt was Understood by the Wairarapa Centre that the .visitors would not be leaving until the Monday afternoon train, but advice has now been received that accommodation has been reserved on the morning tram. If the visitors arrive in Master ton on the Saturday afternoon and leave on the Monday morning, there will be no time for a full game, only about 11 hours on the Saturday evening being available. $ It was unanimously decided that, under these circumstances, the’ visit would be hardly worth while, and the executive was instructed to endeavour to have the visit extended to midday on Monday, February 115, otherwise the cancelling of the visit will be considered. BRITISH TEAM DEFEATED. GAME AT WANGANUI. WANGANUI, Jan. 6.—The British bowlers met eight rinks from city clubs to-day, and suffered defeat by 153 to 129.
