PROPOSED VISIT TO ENGLAND. COMPROMISE LIKELY WITH FRANCE. LONDON, Jan. 4.—lt is expected that tho English and French Rugby Unions will arrange a compromise in order to permit the Maori Rugby team to extend next season ’s projected tour to Britain, despite the present difficulties in arranging the necessary fixtures.—(“Sun.”)
