(Received Tuesday 10 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Jah. s.—Victoria who made 232 in the first innings, have lost 3 wickets for 372 in the second (Woodfull in 208, Hendry 59, Ryder in 66). The weather was fine and cool and the wicket good. Victoria fought desperately; but the runs came slowly, the batsmen taking no chances against the excellent bowling.
