“FREEMAN’S JOURNAL.”
IN FINANCIAL TROUBLE. (Received 7.25 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 15.—A receiver has been appointed to administer the affairs of “Freeman’s Journal” in Dublin, and a week’s notice has been given the staff. It is understood that the Republicans, headed by Countess Markevicz, with Mrs Mary MaeSwiney second in command, are taking possession of the paper.
