ENGLAND AND ABYSSINIA.
ANCIENT CROWN RESTORED.

London, July 19.—King George at a final audience accorded tho Regent of Abyssinia, announced his intention of restoring to the Empress of Abyssinia the Crown of Emperor Theodore, which Lord Napier captured at Magdala in 1868. The Crown has been exhibited at the Victoria and Albert museum since 1869.
The Regent declared that this token of friendship would give the Abyssinians the greatest satisfaction.—(A. and N.Z.)
