SPINNING AND HOSIERY MILLS
PROPOSITION PROGRESSING
Considerable progress is reported in the above proposition and very encouraging support is being received. Intending local subscribers would be well advised to make their applications early and not wait to be called on, as by so doing they may miss the opportunity. Much valuable time would also be saved enabling the company to commence business more quickly and so hasten a project which promises to be of inestimable value to the town and district as well as investors.
Very satisfactory quotes have been received for the machinery, which will be all of the very latest, and with expert operators, who are applying in numbers already, the company will soon reach the production stage and turn out goods of a high quality at lowest cost.
Mr Bell (secretary) has returned from a visit to Pahiatua, Woodville and Dannevirke, where arrangements were made which promise well for securing a considerable amount of capital.
