FARMERS’ FARM SCHOOL.

•OPENS ON MONDAY. Mr W. J. McCulloch, of the Agricultural Department is in Masterton making final arrangements for the Farmers’ Farm School, which is to open on Monday 12, and close on Friday night. Amongst the lecturers besides those already mentioned in these columns are W. H. Booth on the dairy cow, K. W. Gorringe on pigs; C. J. P. Drewitt on electricity in relation to the farm; W. T. Goodwin on fruit pruning and spraying; J. G. Cook on wool classing; F. C. Brown on poultry breeding and management; P. M. Page on shelter belts; Q. Donald on care and management of the draught horse; J. R. Curie on herd testing and dairy machinery. There are a few vacancies and those desirious of attending are requested to make immediate application to J. Hebenton, secretary Farmers’ Union, Masterton.
