Present indications are for moderate strong south-easterly to north-easterly winds noithward of Hokitika and Lyttelton; increasing north-east to northwest winds elsewhere; weather fair and cloudy generally; barometer has a falling tendency in the south. Masterton.—Mr R. Brow,, reported at 9 a.m. yesterday:—Barograph 30.37. Shade temperature, maximum 518, minimum 48.2, terrestrial 47, rain 13 points, bright sunshine 20min. Solway.—Mr H. M. Boddington reported that 13 points of rain were regisered for 24 hours to 9 a.m. yesterday.
