WAIRARAPA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. WARNING. gEVERAL High Tension Insulators having been wilfully damaged during the last week the public are hereby notified that a very heavy penalty is provided for if such damage can be proven to be the act of any citizen and that it is the Board’s intention that such penalties shall be rigorously imposed. Parents are responsible for the acts of juniors. Further it is pointed out that one such act may seriously inconvenience the whole of the district, and that such services as the General Hospital may be cut out with disastrous consequences. The co operation of the general public in the maintenance of the service is respectfully solicited by the Board.
HYDROELECTRIC POWER FOB GLADSTONE AND LONGBUSH DISTRICTS. settlers and residents of the Gladstone and Longbush districts are invited to attend a meeting in tho Gladstone Hall on FRIDAY, May 9, at 7.30 p.m., to consider a scheme for procuring hydro-electric power for tho district.
