GERMAN ELECTIONS.
IN FULL SWING. HOHENZOLLERNS NOT MENTIONED. (Received 11.45 p.m.) * Berlin, March 23.—The election campaign is in full swing. The Socialists’ cry is “defend the Republic.” The Nationalists are frankly appealing for the restoration of Monarchy, though not mentioning the Hohenzollers.
The Bavarian Nationalists are pressing the claim of von Tirpitz as President Ebert’s successor.—(A. and N.Z.)
