BEAUTIFYING SOCIETY.

REQUESTS TO THE COUNCIL At its meeting on Tuesday night the Borough Council received the following resolution from the Beautifying Society: (1) ‘’That the Council •ba requested to consider having all future street corner curbings rounded off on a oft radius.’' (2) “To consider laying down cycling tracks on either side of the road between the bridges, between the trees it is proposed to plant, and the sidewalk.”

The Council decided to give effect to these resolutions when possible.
