PRICES UNCHANGED. Me’Source, March 14. —The opening catalogue of the March wool sales here showed that for the best selection f merino© of the season the mark* was unchanged a s compared with i’ie closing rates of February sale. THE NAPIER SALE. AN EASING IN PRICES. Napier, March 14.—The fourth wool sale of the season was held today, 11,623 hades being offered and 80 per cent. sold. The quality of the wool was not up to the average, and r.n the whole p ces were down slightly* The official range of prices was:— Fine halfbred super 13d to 14d, average lid to 12jd, medium halfbred average 10|d to Hid. inferior to 9sd, fine crossbred super 84d to 9d. average 6d to 7Jd, inferior 4|d to sjd. medium crossbred super 9d, average 6d to 7d, inferior 4jd to sjd, coarse crossbred super 6d to 6|d, average 5d to sfd, inferior 3Jd to low crossbred super super 5d to 6d, average 4d to 4jd, inferior 3|d to 4d. hoggets fine 8d to 9d, medium 6Jd to 7Jd, coarse 4d to 51d, low 4Jd to 4|d, lambs fine 6|d to Bfd, medium s|d to 6Jd; seedy and inferior 3Jd to 4£d; bellies and pieces—crossbred good to super 3Jd to sd, low to medium 2d to 3id; ©rutchings—medium to good 3d to 4 id, inferior and seedy Id to 2|d; locks—crossbred Id to 2£d. — P.A.)
