FOOTBALL.

RED STAB CLUB. The annual meeting of this club was held in the old Druids’ Hail last nignit, when Mr R. J- Southgate (patron) presided over an attendanoo oi 65 members—a record for tlie club. Sixty-two new member s were elected. The election of officer® resulcod as follows:—Patron, R. J. Southgate (reelected) ; president, D. J. Cameron; vice-president®, O. J. Percy, E. Freeman, I<\ Slater, B. Braggins, C. C. Ross, L. A. Wadham, W. Conder, R. J. Paul, A. P. Whatman, E. Houlihan, J. W. Henderson, C. F. Williams, P. Wilton, and T. Jordan; club captain, J. Clarke; secretary and treasurer, T. Flaws (re-elected); delegates to annual meeting of the Wairarapa R.U., R. J. Southgate, T. Jordan and J. Pinhey; delegate® to management committee R.U., T. J organ and J. Pinhey; club coach, J. O’Leary (re-electedj; general committee, J. Clarke, R. V. Flaws, J. Scott, T. Wickens, F. Southgate, J. Pinhey, D. White, A. Golder, F. Shacklefton and officers (ex officio). It was decided to enter senior, junior, third, and fourth grade teams for competition.

Subscriptions were fixed as follows: Seniors 7s 6d, junior s ss, third 2s 6d, and fourths to be admitted tree. A remit to the Wairarapa R.U. that the fees for seritbr and junior teams be reduced to £2 2s was carried. The selection committee of senior team is to be the club captain, coach, and captain. It was decided to support the appointment of three selectors for the representative teams. It was also resolved that the players play in black stockings, with wide white band on top, to be compulsory for senior, and that junior teams turn out in proper uniform. Honorary members’ ticket s are to be issued at ss. It was left to the secretary and the selection committee to try and obtain a suitable building for training purposes.

Hearty votes of thank® were ac corded the ladies’ committee, the out going committee and officers, and tiu press.
