METEOROLOGIST'S FORECAST.
Present indications are for moderate tu strong southerly to westerly winds, changeable conditions, but fair weather likely to predominate; barometer has a rising tendency. Masterton.—Mr R. Brown reports on the readings at 9 a.m. yesterday:— Shade temperature, maximum 76.0. minimum 58.3, terrestrial 54.8, rain *9 points, bright sunshine 9hrs. Solway.-v—Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 13 points of rain were registered at Solway for the 24 hours up till 9 o 'clock yesterday morning.
