PLAGUE IN SYDNEY.
(Received 11.26 p.m.) Sydney, Dec. 9.—The plague patient is improving. Rat-catchers are busy’. An infected rat and a mouse were eaught on Wednesday in the vicinity where the outbreak originated. Queensland still reports scattered cases, and another death occurred t.i Cairns.—(A. and N.Z.)
