IN ASIA MINOR.

TURKS TAKE ADANA. (Received 5.5 p.m.) Athens, Dec. 7.—A telegram from Adana states that 5000 Kemalists entered the town after a dispute with the French commander, who pointed out that the town could not be occupied before January 1. The Kemalists replied that they could not disobey orders and must take Adana by force. The commander telegraphed to headquarters for instructions and was told to give way. Mouhedin Pasha, the Kemalist commander, announced that after three months Christians would be enrolled. The announcement was received with consternation.—(A. and N.Z.)
