Speaking at a meeting of the Masterton A. and P. Association on Saturday afternoon Mr Laird Meredith, strongly advocated a polo competition in connection with the Association's forthcoming show. He stated that prizes for the suggested' competition had been offered by Messrs C Bennett and TClkington, and lie, did not doubt but that- it would prove a most interesting event. It would bo run without cost to the Association, and would prove of much interest from the point of view of the public. Both Messrs T). Smith and D.
