ORANGE GRAND LODGE
RESOLUTIONS PASSED.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.; WANGANUI, Last Night. The Orange Grand Lodge continued it.- deliberations to-day. Resolutions wore passed calling on the NewZealand Government to make emphatic representations to the British Government against the continuance of an en voy to the Vatican, demanding that th'.- Government safeguard the State .system of education, and the immediate removal of all concessions, grants, or privileges to denominational schools, and the granting to the Education Department of adequate finances for necessary accommodation at schools; calling on the Government to remove a Justice of the Peace and a civil servant who were reported to have attended the Irish Eace Convention in Melbourne, which approved of Sinn Feinism in Ireland and supported the demand for an Irish Republic; regretting the United States' resolution 'demanding self-determination for Ireland; conveying to the King an expression of the Grand Lodge's loyalty to His Majesty's person and the ancient throne of Britain, and the Empire, of whose unity the throne is the chief bond and enduring .symbol. Bro. A. Noble was installed K.W.G. and Bro. G. K. Smith D.G.M. The next session is to bo held at Christchurch.
