CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS SINGLES. (From Our Resident Reporter.) The champion of champions singles of the'Wairarapa Bowling Centre was played on the Carterton green yesterday, in which six clubs were represented. The winner turned out to be J. Kerr, of the Masterton Club, who won all his games. All the conclusion of tho play, Mr. Davies, in the absence of the president of the Centre, presented the winner-with a framed certificate and congratulated him upon the performance put up. Mr. Kerr suitably replied, after which he received three cheers. Tho games played were as follows: — First round: Pollock (Martinborough) 14, Bartlett/(Featherston) 19, Hart (Carterton) 22, Compton (Greytown) 10, Kerr (Masterton) 20, Price (Park) 10. Second round: Price 19, Compton 17, Kerr 21, Bartlett 11, Hart 14, Pollock 17. ' Third round: Price 22, Bartlett 11, Kerr 22, Hart 20, Pollock 25, Compton 14. Fourth round: Bartlett 22, Compton 13, Kerr 24, Pollock 6, Hart 20, Price
