The following will represent the "A" Company of the 18th Reinforcements against Wairarapa at Carterton to-day:—Backs: Daurel, Hogan, Tate, Beal, Kennedy, Thompson, Thomas; forwards: \Gannr;iek, Lye, McQuoid, Parker, Coutts, G. Miller, B. Miller, Carter. -Emergencies: A. McLeod, Simms (backs), R. G. McLeod, Herd, Payne (forwards). The above is reported to be a particularly strong combination, the players all coming from the Auckland province, the majority having played in representative football. The proceeds of the match will be devoted to the Citizens' and Settlers' Entertainment Committee. A match for the Pearson Cup is to be played on the <old showgrounds, Masterton, this afternoon, between the Bed Star and Greytown juniors.
