MINING.
SUCCESS DREDGE. The supervisor reports, under date of June 28tli, a good mm of UShrs for 41oz sdwts. -This return was won irom the centre section of the cut. The ground is the same quality as last week. The wash is still tight, and buried timber troublesome. This week's run will bo out in on the south end of the out.
WORKSOP DREDGE. The supervisor reports, under date of June 29th: We had a good run of l27hrs for a poor return of Hoz 12dwts from the full length of the cut. I have given instructions to hurry tho dredge through this ground to reach some lower ground. This will take about three veeks. I am "getting some prospecting bo'"CS put down in the ground opposite to that worked on a strip left when dredging down the flat. If the ground on th'is side is no good, then the end of tho old claim is not far awav.
