A FATAL FIRE.
MR JAS. CUNNINGHAM BURNED ( ll\j Telegraph —Press Association.) PAHIATUA, Last Night. A fire, which, had a strong hold, was discovered shortly after three o'clock • his morning, in the office of the timber yards here, owned hy Mr James Cunningham. The charred body of Mr Cunningham was subsequently found in the office. Deceased was a married man with a young family, and came from Wpodville a couple of years ago and acquired a timber business, which he considerably extended. Some time ago, Cunningham met with a serious accident and suffered lately from insomnia. He had o habit also of going back to work in 3;is office on account of pressure of Imsiness. He was of a generous disposition, and much esteemed.
