A TRAGEDY IN INDIA.
TWO MAHOMMEDAN SOLDIERS RUN AMOK. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON, July 3rd. / An Indian officer reports a tragedy in the Indian cavalry at Jhansi. Two Mahommedan soldiers ran amok, killing Maijdr Gale and Lieut. Court- > cnay, and running into the officers' mess, wounded a captain and a sergeant, and killed a bombardier. A party of troops pursued the murderers, but before they were shot, the , murderers killed Captain Cooper. The murderers are morose and fanatical. : The crime is an isolated one.
