The conference of delegate.', of the Post and Telegraph Service opened yesterday. It flas resolved that all officers be granted monetary payment for overtime , and Sunday holiday duty; that the practice of, granting time off to some junior exchange clerks be abolished, and the principle of monetary payment for Sundays and holiday* be adhered to; that it is (Jeered that all overtime he paid twice monthly; that duty performed after 6 p.m., and before 8 a.m. on travelling P.O.'s be paid at the rate of 9d per hour; that 44 hours pei week be the basis for officers working railway P.O.'s; that, senior agenta receive additional monetary allowance; and that exchange clerks working the midnight to 8 a.m. shift should receive overtime in excess of the i 4 hours per week.
