At the British Empire Club luncheon, the Hon. Thomas McKenzie, High Commissioner, invited Sir Ronald Munro-Ferguson, tlie GovernorGeneral designate of Australia, to pay a visit to New Zealand. Tlie latter laughingly asked Captain Collins (representing the Australian High Commissioner) whether he could do so.
