A PASTORAL LETTER.
TO THE IRISH CHURCHES. 'Timet'—-'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. (Received Last Night, 5.30 o'clock.) LOxNDON, February 24. Cardinal Logue, in a pastoral letter to the Irish Churches, urges the workers to organise real trade unions. He warns them, however, against the clangers of Syndicalism and Socialism. Representative Conciliation Boards are,pointed to as a remedy for the present paralysis of employment, which the Cardinal claims was altogether avoidable, and would never have occurred if Irishmen had a strong, independent Union and were not relying upon the support of the English.
