DROWNING FATALITIES.
(By Tdegraph—Prm Aitoriation.) NAPIER, Last Night. A man named Samuel Taylor, aged 60 years, was found drowned in the river at Waihoki this morning. Taylor. who was missed last Sunday, had .been working for a Maori,-and for some days prior to tho time he was mi sued he had been rather peculiar. IN VERCARGILL, Last Night. The body of Cyril Soar, aged 17 years, one of the victims- of the Green Hills surfing fatality was recovered on Saturday, in the vicinity of the spot where lie went down. An inquest was opened, and evidence of identification grivon. Permission for t|ie burial of the deceased was given, and the inquest adjourned till day. The body of Galloway has not yet been .'recovered. WELLINGTON, Last Night. A . drowning accident occurred at Tawa Flat yesterday afternoon, the victim being Marian Buckley, aged 15. She .was attending a picnic, and while bathin<_>; with ''vernl other <nrls got out of her depth in a creek which runs throng,h the grounds. The stream is of a dangerous character, owing to holes in the bed. Effort? at ivsem' proved unavailing. -The. deceased'-i parents reside in thft vt- . cinitv.
