DENIED BY.LORD NORTHCUFFE INVENTION OF ENVIOUS WRITERS. (Received-Last Night, 8 o'clock., 1 ) LONDON, Sept. 24. Lord Northcliffe, speaking at the Canadian Club, Montreal, said the Canadian were often too,, ready to swallow the jealous rubbish invented by envious "writers in, the United States and Germany, that the Empire \va£ declining, it was not true. The Empire was sound everywhere, and Britain was never more active or alive.
