FIRES.
HOUSE DESTROYED AT PARKVALE. (By Telegraph—Special to Age.) CARTERTON, Last Night. The ten-roomed residence of W. C. Dorset, of Parkvale, was totally destroyed by fire at noon to-day. The origin of the fine is a mystery. When discovered, the fire had a firm hold on tho ceiling. Mr Dorset and family were absent at the time. The insurance on the building and eontents is £950 in the New Zealand office. Nothing was saved. DWELLING DESTROYED AT * FEILDING. (By Telegraph — Press Association.) FEILDING, Last Night. A dwelling owned by Mrs Tantrum, and occupied by Mr Croft, situated near Feilding, was totally destroyed by fire early this morning. The house was insured in the State office for £450, and the furniture in the Standard Office for £2OO. It was a new house, and was worth £7OO.
