} BOMBARDMENT OF ADRIANOPLE _ SKIRMISH AT CHATALDEJA. (Received February 4, 2 p.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, February 3. It is officially stated that the Allies bombarded Adrianople at seven o'clock, and that a skirmish was opened at Chataldeja. THE SPECIAL QUARTER. REQUEST BY CONSULS. (Received Last Night, 9.50 o'clock.) CONSTANTINOPLE, February 4. The Consuls at Adrianople have addressed the Ambassadors, asking that it be arranged that the Bulgarians will not-'bombard'the special quarter of the town, and that 120 foreigners be allowed to pass tho Bulgarians lines. (Received February 4, 11 a.m.) SOFIA, February 3. Bulgarian is prepared to concede the appointment of a. -representative of the Caliph in Adrianoplo if that town is ceded. The German Minister is urging the Government not to participate in hos- ! tilities against Turkey.
