THE HOME STRIKES.
It will come as a, tsiboek to New Zealand producers to find that they have to contribute a, large slice of the increase in wages which iha s resulted from the recent strikes in the Old Country. An increase of 7-J- per cent, in all charges will mean, a very considerable sum to the producers of this-JDomimoa. I*/.will possibly' run into £IOO,OOO per year, or more. The Overseas l Dominions, have thus a very real, interest in, the industrial strife which is> being waged at the other end. 'Unihappilly for the prodticer, he cannot "paisis it on."
