Messrs Dalgety and Co. report as follows on the weekly sale at Eketahuna on Friday last: —We had a very heavy yarding of sheep, entries coming .in over advertised numbers. Business under the hammer dragged, but we were successful in making a clearance before the day closed. Vendors price-* in most cases were above the purchasers' ideas. We quote: Woollj lambs (good) 10s 6d, others ,7s, 7s 6d, 7s 9d, Bs, 2 tooth wethers 10s to 10s 9d, breeding ewes (mixed ages) 8s 6d to 10s 3d, 2 tooth ewes 13s 3d, 13s sd, 13s 6d, 4, 6 andlf.m. cwes'lls to 12s 9d.
