CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor). Sir,—ln the report of the Department of Labour, published by you today, I notice the Department states that there is still a good deal of wheat and oats to be harvested, I have travelled over most-parts of the valley lately, and I do not know of a single stook of grain out. Do you think that this Labour Department makes any inquiries at all, Mr Editor; if they did they would not write such nonsense. Further on, the report states that in Fcatherston farmers are busy cutting crops. All the, crops grown in that district could be put in one of the oat paddocks on Taratahi, and I believe the Featherbton crops were all in a month ago. That report is one month behind hand, and is misleading. Do you think that any of it is reliable? Do you think it is worth printing? I am, etc., FARMER. Kuripuni, March sth.
