A MARATHON RACE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 7. The New Zealand Marathon Race from Howick to Auckland, a distance of 13 miles, was decided here yesterday. Hill, an Earl College youth of 18 won by less than 100 yards from Moore (Christchurch), with L. J. Ormstein (Auckland) third, Rogers fourth, and Shanahan (Christchurch) fifth. Hill covered the distance in lhr 18min.
