AMENDING LEGISLATION DESIRED. UNION SUPPORT OF LABOUR MEMBERS. GOVERNMENT SAID TO BE FAVOURABLE. Received November 30, 10.20 p.m. LONDON, November 30. Mr Davis, Treasurer of the Trades Union Congress, states that. Parliament is to be asked to pass an amending Bill authorising unions to support labour members. He . added that the Government would support such a measure. Mr Keir-Hardie indicated that if the House of Lords did" not reverse the decision, then Parliament would be asked to amend the law.
