REGISTERED ARTICLES MISSING.

Received October 13, 11.38 p.m. BRISBANE, October 13

The Deputy - Postmaster states that two of the Aeon's mail bags arrived in a state of pulp. Fiftyfour registered letters are missing from the Queensland portion of the mail.

The Deputy-Postmaster has received a cable from Wellington stating that twenty registered articles are missing from the New Zealand portion of the mail.
