The question of the beat date on which to hoi J the next Masterton Show has been one which has caused the General Committee of the Mastcrto:i Agricultural and Pastoral Association serious thought. Membars generally have recognised that in the past the Show, clashing with the Wnodville races, has not been in their interests. The Committer postponed final decision in the matter of dates until yesterday, when a rubcommittee reported that, with the surrounding Shows and ram fair dates, it was impossible to av >id | again clashing with the Woodville 1 Racing Club's su-rimer fixture, and the dates for the Show were fixed for February 16th and 17th, and for the Ram Fair 18th and 19th.
