EXHIBITION OF COLONIAL FRUIT

Received June 12, 11.1 p.m. LONDON. June 12. At the Colonial Fruit Show of the Horticultural Society the New Zealand Government exhibited one hundred varieties of apples and pears. The Society's gold medal was awarded to Mr Blakeway, of Christchurch, for apples. Silver Banksian medal was awarciel to Clarke Brothers, of Whanearei, for preserved fruits. Mr J. Anderson (Adelaide), for apples, and the West Australian Government for grapes, were awarded silver Knightian medals.
