DEATH OF A WELL-KNOWN BOWLER.

WELLINGTON, June 4. Mr James Longton, nightwatchman at the General Post Office, who fell downstairs, last night, died in the Hospital, this evening. ; The deceased was about sixty years of age, and had been eight or nine years employed at the Post Office. He was well-known in bowling circles, being a local skip.
