BLACKBALL STRIKE.
ATTITUDE OF EMPLOYERS. IMMEDIATE ACTION URGED. BY TELEGIUPII —PRESS ASSOCIATION' AUCKLAND, April 13. The Auckland Employers' Association passed a resolution urging immediate action to test the efficacy clauses of the Arbitration Act relating to the prevention of strikes and the punishment of those who abet strikes.
BRUNNER MINERS UNSYMPA THETIC. GREYMOUTH, April 18. After a stormy meeting the Brunner Miners' Union decided that they had no sympathy with the strikers, but in order to prevent the wives and children from suffering, they decided to make a call of five per cent, on miners' wages. Negotiations for a settlement of the strike are likely.
