Mr W. F. Day reports that the total rainfall at Brooklyn, Gladstone, for the month of November was 0.73 inches. The maximum fall was 0.38 inches on November 12th, ancl the minimum fall 0.01 inches on November 13th, 19th and 27th. The following forecast was issued by Captain Edwin at 9 a.t:i. yesterday for the subsequent 24 hours: — Wind—Moderate to strong from the eastward at all places north of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan, but from the southward at all other places. barometer —Fall at all places north of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan, but rise everywhere else. Rain is probable south of East Cape and New Plymouth. Warning signal for southerly gale is exhibited at Capes Campbell, Foulwind, Farewell Spit and Nugget Point.
