A PROGRESSIVE BUSINESS.
The furnishing house of Messrs G. Hyde and Co. is keeping right up to date in the conduct of their business. Their London buyers are in touch with all the English manufacturers of furnishings, etc., consequently the firm are not only enabled to keep a stock of the latest productions in the patterns and style of goods, but, avoiding the middleman's profit, can retail their wares at a price hitherto not approached. The new stock just landed comprises extensive lines in oilcloths and linoleums, carpet squares, hearth rugs, and all manner of floor coverings, whilst a line of toilet sets comprise a big variety in choice patterns and quaint shapes. They are also very large manufacturers of art furniture, and the factory is a perfect hive of business and bustle. Their picture-framing department is replete with the latest styles in mouldings and mounts.
