MADAME BLANCHE ARRAL.
To-night patrons of the Town Hall will have an opportunity of hearing the greatest operatic soprano who hiis ever visited Australasia, and critics claim the premier of the world. Blanche Arral is a prima donna, and the Opera Houses of Paris, New York, St. Petersburg, Brussels, and Berlin have heard her in leading roles. A contemporary says:—"Blanche Arx-al does not come to this country as many have done, after she has worn out her popularity and voice singing in Europe, travelling on a ancient reputation. She comes to Australasia in the very zenith of her powers, and although unknown the Melbourne public were quick to realize the greatness of the artiste who came so unheralded into their midst, and the Princess Theatre in Melbourne was too small to hold the crowds who besieged the doors during her seven concerts. The Sydney Town Hall, though holding over three thousand people, was too small, and at Wellington hundreds were turned away. Her beauty of voice has won all hearts wherever she has appeared."
