MOROCCO.

Received December 30, 4.42 p.m, MOROCCO, December. 29.

The bulk of the Shireefian Army has proceeded to Anjera. The border chiefs in the neighbouring villages have been shown the Sultan's letter deposing of Raisuli. The meeting was a cordial one. The chiefs said that they were glad to get rid of the exactions and swore obedience. Sid Mohammed Guebbas explained the reforms. The chiefs were satisfied. The Tahsia tribe will assemble today to hear the letter. Raisuli's prestige is crushed, and there are indications that he will proceed to the interior.
