M.C.C. v. WANGANUI. EASY WIN FOR THE VISITORS] By Telegraph—Press Association. WANGANUI, December 22. The cricket match, M.C.C. v. Wanganui, was concluded, to-day, in beautiful weather, the visitors winning by an innings and 234 runs. Wanganui continued their first < innings which closed for 124, Cave being top-scorer with a well-played 55. Following on, Wanganui were all disposed of for 95, Douglas taking ten wickets, seven clean bowled, for 23 runs. The following were the scores : I M.C.C. Advisory Committee, by eight votes to seven, rejected Kent's proposal to extend the time qualification for men coming to England for the purpose of making a livelihood out of cricket.
THE MASTERTON CLUB. MARRIED V. SINGLE. A match was played on the Park Oval on Saturday afternoon, between teams representing the married and single members of the Club.
