QUOITS.

OPaKI club. The monthly competitions of the Opaki Quoit Club were held at Mr Wyeth's grounds on Saturday last. The men's,competition was won by J. Clune, E, Petersen second, and H. Obristensen third. The ladies played for Mr Boyd's trophy, which after keen competition was won by Mrs Searle with Mies Wyeth a good second. The single ladies played during the afternoon (or a trophy donated by Mrs l'nomaa, which was eventually won by Miss Tanbersley. Mr J. Cotter, a* member, and an old player, who ib on a vtait to Upaki, joined in the monthly match and at the afternoon tefi adjournment, presented Mrs Wyetb's trophy to Mias E, 'lankersley.
