PARK TEA KIOSK.
PARK COMMITTEE'S EECOMMENDATIONS.
The Borough Paris Committee met last evening to discuss the ways and means of erecting a tea kiosk iii the Park. There were present—Grs J.. 0. Ewingtou (chairman); J. Elliott, F. W, Temple, and I. Q. Hoar. It was stated that the committee had been promised £SO by the Band and £lO 10s by the Wnirarapa Gaiadoniau Sooiety on oonditinn that the building was eieoted before New Year's Day. Ik was considered that an additional £lO could be raised by subscription. This woald bring the total to £IOO. It was deoided, therefore, to ask the Gonnoil to vote £IOO towards the building, which would be equal to a subsidy of £ for £ on the amount the committee had raised. It was resolved to have the specifications for the building drawn up and to meet again on Wednesday to further consider the plans and specifications. The committee deoided to then call for tenders, to close on Monday next, for the ereolion of the building.
