DOWNING STREET'S REPUTATION.
DAILY TELEGRAPH'S COMMENTS. COLONIES IGNORED. Received Novmeber 23, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, November 22. The Daily Telegraph complains that the colonies at every turn find themselves ignored, checked, thwarted, and nullified by the pre sent Imperial Government, and the reckless criticism of the ignorant majority of the GDvernment has once more destroyed Downing Street's reputation for insight with oversea kinsmen. Questions whioh could e«sily have been adjusted under other circumstances,'the paper adds, are now aggravated beoause the Government is unable to inspire confidence.
