Received November 8, 13.43 a.m. HO BART, November 7. Mr Morrisly, in the Legislative Council, charged tha attorneyGeneral with abuses of the electoral law by acting as agent for a candidate and spending money in excess of the legal amount. He alleged this was done to defeat f he then Attorney-Uenerai and secure that portfolio for himself. Mr Propsting denied the charges, explaining the matter to the satisfaoton of the members.
